About Building Reporter
We are dedicated to protecting the health and safety of building occupants by raising awareness about the real conditions of our buildings, facilities, schools and, more importantly, by providing the means to improve dangerously deficient building and environmental conditions so that all our tenants, children, and staff are provided with buildings that are healthy, safe and free of recognized hazards from asbestos, lead, mold, and poor indoor air quality.
A national initiative dedicated to transforming public facilities into safe, clean, and welcoming spaces. Our work combines advocacy, data-driven analysis, and direct community support to drive sustainable change.
We work closely with educational sector labor unions, national & community organizations & advocates, elected officials, leading policy & trade organizations, elected officials, facility managers, & environmental health experts to identify and improve facility and building issues. We are a non-profit organization working to raise public stakeholder awareness, understanding and knowledge about dangerous conditions and to empower core communities with tools and information needed to advocate for buildings that are free of hazards like asbestos, lead, mold, and poor air quality.
